Mostafa Hashish has been a responsive and committed freelance author and editor of many of the American University in Cairo's Management Center documents over the last 5 years. He has the ability not only to write and edit documents but also to reflect the inner aspects of the organization matching full timers and long serving personnel and staff showing a unique talent of observing and disseminating ideas and facts. He also orchestrated and led the team that developed the Management Center's 6 minutes documentary movie that was shown in the center's 30th anniversary. Report 2007
Mostafa served as a key translator for the 2007 Egypt Human Development Report, for which I was the Lead Author and Director. Mostafa's translation services came highly recommended by a number of colleagues, and he proved himself to be a very capable and professional translator. I have depended on Mostafa to translate some very technical material involving statistics and indicators for the report. For some of his assignments, he has conducted exact translations of background papers and at other times I have asked him to condense very long research papers written in Arabic into succinct English summaries that highlight only the most important material.
